Lower eyelid aesthetics are divided into surgical and medical aesthetic procedures.
Medical Aesthetic Operations
Light filling: It is a very common application for hollowness, bruising and tired appearance in the lower eyelid. These are fillers containing hyaluronic acid and mesotherapy solutions. It is a procedure that can be performed within 10-15 minutes after cream application for local anesthesia. Since the under-eye skin is very sensitive, it is more successful to perform the procedure in 3 sessions at intervals of 15 days to 30 days.
Under-eye lipolytic products: If you do not have sagging skin under your eyes, but only fat herniations, lipolytic products specially prepared for under the eyes can be applied in 2 or 3 sessions after the application of local anesthetic cream. The results after the application are quite successful.
Eye contour serums: Eye contour serums can be applied in 2 or 3 sessions to improve the quality of the delicate skin around the eyes. Special products containing hyaluronic acid mesotherapy products prepared only for the eye area are applied intradermally (directly into the skin).
Surgical Methods
Lower eyelid surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia depending on the procedure. Herniated fat tissue is removed transconjunctivally. Excess skin lower eyelid is an operation performed by making an incision 1 mm below the eyelashes. Dissolvable sutures are used. Swelling and bruises disappear between 7-10 days. The surgery is made more beautiful with botox applied to the crow’s feet lines 1 month after the operation.
